Trendies uses smart wallets to make your experience as seamless as possible. When you sign in, Trendies creates an on-chain smart wallet for you.
Posting, commenting, liking posts, and earning rewards do not require any Base ETH for gas. However, to trade community coins and sell rewards, you will need to deposit some Base ETH.
Trendies offers different deposit options:
Moonpay is a fiat onramp integrated in Trendies through Privy. Click the “Moonpay” button to start the Moonpay flow.

You can transfer funds from another wallet by sending funds to your Trendies account address. View and copy your account address by clicking “View Trendies wallet address” on the deposit screen or under “Address” on the wallet modal.
If you are signed in by connecting an external wallet like Coinbase Wallet or MetaMask, you can easily deposit from your connected wallet to your Trendies account on the deposit flow. Simply enter the amount you would like to deposit on the deposit screen. You will be prompted in your external wallet to confirm the deposit.
